We are now in our 4th week of school, and how are things going?
I have found that 1.5 of my 5 classes are... blah. Of course, many people were asking me when it was earlier in the semester if I would drop these classes because of these teachers.
Sadly, as much as I don't like the teaching styles of these professors, I would not even think of dropping these classes. I would want or need will be open by now.
Some of you might have noticed and been wondering, "What? 1.5? Half a class?"
One of my classes, the ChAD and Kin class, has two instructors... and I only like one of them as a teacher. The other one just drones on and on and on and on... and... on...
As for the other class, which I really just don't like (though I had been optimistic when I enrolled for it...), there has not been one class wherein the teacher has read a book, or shown a video, or even both! Furthermore, when she is challenged, or someone says something that doesn't really jive with her ideas, she gets this almost desperate demeanor, as if she needs to prove her point.
Poor thing.
Otherwise, everything else is peachy keen. In the Bridal Ride, however, that's a different matter!

Superbowl.... what?
Let me be honest right now.
Yesterday was the first day that I actually watched the Superbowl.
There. Fine. We're past that.
It was really fun! We went to Kirk's place, and brought Food. Yes, capitalized. Food. Tim bought drinks and pizza, I made pigs-in-a-blanket, Stephie and Lorraine brought ice cream, and Lorraine brought salad, too!
The game was alright, I was pretty worried about all the players. They look like they're taking a beating the whole time! Poor boys... er, men.
I don't know much about the game itself... And I'll admit, I'm not sure if I'll ever care enough to become fully knowledgeable. Yesterday, I brought my homework. :x Yeah, yeah, yeah. I also fell asleep.
Coincidentally, that's when the Saints (which one were they, again?) started winning. Hmph. I missed the cool touchdowns... Maybe I'll try to stay awake next time.

Great, great, great America!
:) So guess who went out and got herself a job?
Tim and I arrived at the auditions for Great America at 8:30 AM. That meant... I woke up at 7, and Tim woke up at 7:30 AM. I love him dearly for that! And for the ensuing events throughout the day...
8:30 - Arrive at Great America
9:00 - The Singers' auditions start.
9:30 - I finish my singing audition and head out... only to be stopped, and asked if I could come back for a dancing audition. I readily agree!
10:00 - Tim and I decide to get some brunch. Hungry Hippos!
10:50 - We get back to Great America for the dancing auditions.
11:00 - The dancing auditions are going to start late...
11:30 - The dancing auditions start!
1:30 - The dancing auditions end. :) It was fun. And so I head out... only to be stopped, and asked if I could stay for an interview for the characters.
2:00 - I finish my interview, and I got the job!!
While I would adore being a Peanuts character, and do meet-and-greets, I still have some hopes that they'll pick me for a singing gig, too. Cross your fingers!

Nerves and Consciousness
It's Friday! :)
Tomorrow's the audition for the Great America thing... I'm kind of nervous. I haven't even signed up for it, I should make sure to do that today. I'm very jittery, and I didn't even drink Tim's coffee. Haha.
I'm listening to my iPod cause my roommate isn't even awake yet... and it's 12:02 pm. She must have had a late night... but I can't wait any longer to practice! Man, oh man... I think my other roommate, in the other room, has her brother over, too. I'm not sure if they're still sleeping or whatnot. Where can I go to practice? What a dilemma.
I just remembered, I have to do laundry today -- It's free laundry until this coming Monday. ;) Have to take advantage of that!
Ahh, college life. Isn't it great?

Elevator Troubles
Well, it's the second week of Spring 2010.
Oh students, students! It's only the second week! Did you have to break the elevators? At least one of the elevators in CVB is broken! Broken!! Just how do you do this, kids? C'mon now! Stop getting drunk and trashing the place!
There's trouble in Sweeney Hall, too! For the past week, only one -- I repeat, one -- elevator that's been working. Gosh! This one, however, I will not attribute to the drunkenness of students. This one's just plain darn weird. The elevator on the right just stays on the 2nd floor... every single time. Weird, weird, weird.
Anywho. Today, I turned in the first article of homework for Spring '10! :D Be proud of me! Yes, you.
Oops. That just reminded me that I have to go email my teacher. Away I go!
